Located between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Penedo is the only Finnish colony at South America. Its history began in 1929 when a group of naturalists came from Finland in order to create a new society. Penedo receives today, tourists from all over the world attracted by its clean and fresh waters, nice climate, beautiful nature and, of course, many shops that sell from a wide range of craftmanship to chocolate and sweets |

| Three Waterfalls - located at Rio das Pedras, stands out by the formation of 3 small waterfalls. The largest is about 3 m high. Its waters are clear and cold, good for bath at of the many "natural pools". | ||
